“Out of Scope” refers to an employee who is not a member of the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA) bargaining unit. “Permanent” refers to an employee whose classification is continuing status, permanent, probationary, tenured or without term. If the “Permanent” employee has an appointment of half-time or greater they are eligible to participate in various University benefit plans as outlined in the plan summaries.
