New Employee Orientation

Orientation sessions for new faculty and staff take place at regular intervals. These effective and informative orientation sessions help ensure new employees are as well-prepared as possible to take on their new roles - a promising start to an excellent employment relationship.

Each orientation session will feature welcoming addresses and presentations from senior university administrators and Human Resources. Many interesting and important topics will be covered, including the vision and strategic directions of the University of Saskatchewan, the Integrated Planning Process and the many services available for employees on campus.

A seasoned university employee will also share his or her experiences on campus, provide tips for you as a new employee and take your questions. Each session is roughly two hours in length with an optional 45 minute campus walking tour after the event.

The sessions are designed to be enjoyable, engaging and participative. We strongly encourage all new employees to attend, network with other new employees, get a special gift package from Human Resources and learn more about our workplace!
