Adobe Acrobat Pro Site License

Software changes are being made on all university computers to replace Adobe Acrobat with a standard PDF viewing application. The new PDF viewer will be set as the default option to open and view PDF files on all Microsoft Windows computers. Changes to the software is a result of recent updates to Adobe’s licensing agreement which no longer make it economically feasible to provide Adobe Acrobat Professional on all university computers.

For users performing advanced editing functions within PDF files, ICT has secured a limited number of licenses for Nuance PowerPDF. This software can be installed on Microsoft Windows computers and is available by request. If you require the advanced features available in Naunce PowerPDF please complete the Software Request Form prior to February 14.
