Installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on Apple OS 10.9+

Note: This install guide is for university-owned computers only. If you do not see an option to install Acrobat Pro DC in the self-service application, please contact your local IT support team for assistance as their involvement may be required. If you are unsure who your local IT support is, contact the Service Desk at 306-966-2222.

  1. You will need to enroll your university-owned Mac with JAMF Casper Suite and install the Self Service application. If the Self Service application is already in your Applications folder, proceed to Step 2.
    • Open a web browser and go to: macenroll.usask.ca
    • Log in with your NSID and password.

      Log in

    • Select your department from the list of choices.

    • Click the Enroll button.

    • Click the Download button to download the QuickAdd installer.

    • Once the QuickAdd installer has downloaded, go to your downloads and double-click the QuickAdd.pkg file.

    • Click the Continue button.

    • Click the Continue button.

    • Click the Install button.

    • Type in your Mac’s admin account username and password.

    • Your web browser should say “The enrollment process is complete”.

    • Click the Close button.

  2. Open the Self Service application.
    • Go to the Applications folder and open self-service.

    • Log in to the self-service app using your NSID and password.

  3. Install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
    • On the right-hand side of the screen, under the Categories tab, select Adobe.

    • Select the Adobe Pro DC and click the Install button.

    • At the top of the self-service application you should now see a progress bar indicating downloading/installing information.

  4. Once installed, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC can be opened from your Applications folder.
