Individual File Sharing and Storage (ownCloud)

With ownCloud you can access your U of S files from anywhere on any device including your desktop, laptop, and Apple and Android mobile devices. The U of S ownCloud makes it easy to share files with people on and off campus in a safe and secure manner.

Getting Started

Access ownCloud Online via your Web Browser

  1. Visit owncloud.usask.ca.
  2. Log in with your NSID and password (an account has already been created for you).

NOTE: The first time you log in you will see a blank page.

Access ownCloud Through WebDav: 

  1. Windows OS
  2. Apple OS

Access ownCloud via the iOS ownCloud App

The U of S ownCloud app for iOS is designed for both iPhone and iPad devices. You must download U of S ownCloud from the iTunes store

NOTE: The iOS ownCloud app does not allow the setting of sharing preferences. To set secure sharing, log in to owncloud.usask.ca via your web browser and set up sharing. This is explained under the Share Within the U of S (to someone with an NSID) section in the Learn More tab.

Access ownCloud via the Android ownCloud App

The U of S ownCloud app for Android is designed for mobile devices running on an Android platform. You must download U of S ownCloud from the Google Play store.

NOTE: The Android owncloud app does not allow the setting of sharing preferences. To set secure sharing, log in to owncloud.usask.ca via your web browser and set up sharing. This is explained under the Share Within the U of S (to someone with an NSID) section in the Learn More tab.
