Network Printing (printq.usask.ca) - Windows Printer Set-up Guide

You need to set up a network printer so your computer can access the network. The first printer you connect your computer to, whether it is a network printer or another printer, will automatically be your default printer. If you have access to more than one printer you may want to choose a default printer; the default printer is used for your print job unless a different one is manually selected.

Set up a Network Printer

1. Click the Start icon.

2. Select the Run icon.

3. Enter "\\printq" in the Run text box. (Formerly accessed as  "\\green")

4. Click the OK button.
