Event Calendar

The Event Calendar is available as a WCMS design option. Events posted from the event calendar can be integrated with your homepage. To have it added to your website please email cascade_support@usask.ca

** The calendar updates every 15 minutes on the hour. For example, if you publish at 9:02 or 9:14 the event(s) will not appear on the calendar until 9:15. **

Create and post a new event

  1. Select the folder for the month of the event. E.g., 01-Jan
  2. From the New menu select Event

    New event

  3. Fill in the appropriate fields and click Submit

    Test event

  4. Select the index page for that month and click the Publish tab*
  5. Click Submit

Delete an event

  1. Select the event
  2. Click the More tab and select Delete

    Delete event

  3. Make sure the Unpublish Content checkbox is NOT checked
  4. Click Submit

    Unpublish

  5. Select the index page for that month and click the Publish tab*
  6. Click Submit

    Publish index page

Editing an existing event

  1. Select the event
  2. Edit the relevant field(s) and click Submit
  3. Select the index page for that month and click the Publish tab*
  4. Click Submit
