Editing Images

Once the image has been uploaded to Cascade:

  1. Select the image you want to edit
  2. Click the Edit tab
  3. Using the options below edit the image as desired
  4. Click Submit to save the changes

The following editing options are available:

Undo/Redo

Undo/redo buttons

These buttons work the same as the undo/redo buttons in the WYSIWYG. Undo is available after an operation has been performed. Redo is available after an undo operation was performed. There is no limit to the undo/redo operations.

Resizing 

Image resize

The width and height text boxes show the current width/height of the image.  The "link" icon between the width and height boxes determines if the aspect ratio should be preserved and can be toggled on or off (it is on by default). To change the dimensions of the image, change the values in the width/height fields; then click the resize button to the right of the "Height" field.

Rotate

Rotate buttons

The rotate buttons will rotate the image clockwise or counterclockwise. 

Flip

Flip buttons

The flip buttons will flip the image like a mirror, vertically or horizontally.

Crop

Crop button

To crop, click the Crop icon, then place your mouse over the image and drag to select the area to be cropped (the cursor will turn into a crosshair when hoving over the image).

After the area has been selected, press the Crop button again.

To save your changes click Submit.
