Adding a Page

The following does not apply to news articles, FAQ pages, or profiles.

Note: You may find the following instructions do not exactly match your particular layout.

How to create a new general content page:

  • Quick guide
  • Step-by-step guide with screenshots
  • Publishing
    • If the page is new or not yet published (i.e. not on the website) you'll need to publish the parent folder (and the Site Map if applicable). To do this, click the folder, select the Publish tab then click Submit
    • If the page is already on the website you just need to publish the page. To do this select the Publish tab then click Submit

How to edit an existing page:

  • Click the Edit tab and enter the content as desired.

Quick guide:

  1. Click on the section folder that is to contain the new page
  2. In the New menu select the Page - General Content
  3. Fill in the Display Name and Title fields
    • Display Name - text will appear in the navigation
    • Title - text will appear as the main heading, and in the browser title bar. For information on title tags and web searching see Web Search Effectiveness
  4. Add Page Image if desired
  5. Add Page Content as desired.
  6. Add Expander (Tabs) if desired
  7. Click the Submit button
  8. Publish:
    • Parent folder (if the page is not yet published to the website) or just the page (if the page already exists on the website)
    • Site map (if applicable)
