Versions

Cascade automatically creates a version of an asset each time the Submit button is clicked. The system saves the 20 most recent versions.

Quick guide

To see and activate a past version of a particuar asset (e.g. a page):

  1. Select the page, click on the More tab and select Versions.
  2. A list of all the versions for that asset will appear. The green check mark indicates the live version.
  3. Click the hyperlinked file path to select a version.
  4. You will see an added 'viewing' bar, allowing you to select the following actions:
    • Newer - Scroll through to a later version.
    • Older - Scroll through to an earlier version.
    • Current - Reverts back to the active or current version.
    • Activate - Makes the version the active or current version.
    • Delete - Deletes the version from the versions list.
    • Compare with Current - compares that version with the current version

If you select Compare with Current, you will see a marked up version of your page that identifies what is different between the versions.
