“U of S Students’ Experience in Uganda" May to August, 2015

In 2012 Canada celebrated the 60th anniversary of accession to the Throne of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Support was rallied from the Government, private and public sectors to fund an inspiring new scholarship initiative in her honour: the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships Program.

Professor Adil Nazarali from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition received a QEII Scholarship award and was able to fund seven students for a three month community placement internship in Uganda. As a follow up, three of the students, Anthony Mark, Christine Casavant and Janaya Little prepared a presentation on their experience. Full presentation.
