Japanese Interns from Iwate University
“Saskatoon, the City of Bridges, really reminded us of Morioka with a river flowing through the city and a number of bridges connecting two sides of the city.” Said Ms. Misaki Ito, a staff member from Iwate University in Morioka, Japan.
Building on a longstanding relationship initiated by Professor Karen Tanino in the Department of Plant Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources, the U of S and Iwate University implemented a faculty and staff internship program in September 2015.
