Selecting Graphics Colours

Here are some suggestions for selecting graphics colours for web pages.

Remember that people cannot change the default colours for graphics like they can for text, so they are at your mercy for colours.
Test your pages on a black and white monitor to make sure the pictures can still be viewed by older systems, and colour-blind people.
Maintain high contrast for text over graphics. People with low-vision have trouble seeing screens with low contrast.
