Colour Blindness Resources
Generally the best way to test if your pages work for colour blind people
is to view it on a black-and-white monitor. If your colour scheme ends up
with different colours appearing as almost identical shades of gray, then
it probably will look that way to colour blind people.
Here are some resources that discuss colour blindness and the
problems the 2% of people with this condition have distinguishing colours.
- "Color Blind as a
Dog" - a simple example by a colourblind person of colours he has
trouble distinguishing from each other.
- "Color
Blindness Check - some colour blindness tests to identify if people
are colour blind or not. Gives an idea of the shades that should not be
mixed.
