Formatting Exercise


Edit your document and apply the following formatting options so your page looks similar to the page displayed at the right. The items in [square brackets] will be different on your page. You don't have to type the [square brackets].

  1. Select the "Home page for " title at the top, centre it, and make it a "Heading 1".
  2. Select your name in the heading, and put it in italic letters.
  3. Select the "Personal Information" and "Professional Information" headings and make them a "heading 2".
  4. Try experimenting with the other options. Try different colours, try bolding some letters, changing fonts or font sizes, justifying paragraphs, etc.

[Kevin works for the Department of Computing Services at the University of Saskatchewan. He is the Technical Web Coordinator for the University of Saskatchewan, and also does training sessions on topics related to the World Wide Web.
