In addition to the services below, there are a number of services in the ICT Research Services webpage.
Several units across campus provide services for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). An example of this is the GIS librarian. Many of the services are organised by the GIServices project.

The ICT training services group provides courses on a number of topics,ranging from use several computer programs to navigating research grant applications. There is also instruction for tools such as high performance computing.
This is particularly handy for new graduate students. For example a class is offered for research poster production.

The University Learning Centre also provides help on a number of critical skills, such as writing for graduate students and mathematics tutoring.
The Library also provides instruction for new researchers.
