Part 2. Register with Red Hat Network (RHN) for updates
The first time you boot up after the install is complete an RHN Registration page screen will appear. At this screen, check "Tell me why I need to register and provide a Red Hat Login" and click Next
To complete the registration, download the appropriate shell script (see below) and save it to your home directory.
The script will register you system with RHN, configure it to use the campus proxy server and update it. The shell script contains an activation key and when run will register your system with RHN and configure it to use our local Proxy Server. Scripts are available for the following groups:
