To help the campus fight virus threats, ICT has negotiated a Sophos Anti-virus Software* Site License for all University computers and servers. This free software is available to current students, employees, retirees (including professors emeriti) and alumni of the University for both on-campus and home use. Sophos provides an automated update service for on-campus and off-campus computers.
This service will automatically download the latest "updates" to the anti-virus software to your computer. Sophos's on-access scanner provides constant real-time protection with minimal system overhead. |
