Q: Do I have to buy a Windows license if I want to run a Windows server?

A: No.  Licenses for any Windows Server edition such as Windows 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 are included in the prices.  This does not include Windows desktop OSs like Windows 7 or XP.

Q: I am trying to upload an ISO or OVF via the advanced GUI from my Linux system to a catalog in my cloud, but it just hangs.

A: Even though the uploader uses Java, the tool seems to somethimes have problems uploading from non-windows operating systems.  The problem should be resolved if you upload using a browser in Windows.  

Q: Why do my snapshots get removed after a week.

A: Snapshots are automatically removed from VMs and vApps if left for 7 days as they are not designed for long term use and affect performance and waste space for you and all other VMs in the cloud service.
