Fees are based of peak usage and billed monthly. It is an a-la-carte model with the following monthly rates as of Nov 1, 2012:

| per vCPU | 2.50 |
| per GB RAM | 1.50 |
| per GB disk | 0.10 |
Licenses for any Windows Server edition such as Windows 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 are included in the prices. This does not include Windows desktop OSs like Windows 7 or XP.
Charging of GST and PST taxes are dependant on the type of CFOAPAL account being charged. Typically taxes are not applied to U of S departments. If you are unsure, you should contact FSD and the ICT billing department.
If a VM remains off for the entire monthly billing cycle, users only incur the disk storage cost.
