My Site allows each person with access to SharePoint to maintain their own site. This site is intended to contain personal information (name, department, job title) as well as details on the employee's work activities. For example, a person can post interesting links and documents to share with others. It is also a full SharePoint site where employees can create their own web pages, document libraries, lists and calendars. A portion of each My Site is open to other SharePoint clients.
ICT has chosen not to enable the My Site feature for the initial deployment. The reasons for this decision are:
