Overview

An electronic course management system for distance education and face to face courses that can be used to distribute course materials, communicate with students, help organize students, facilitate student group work, deliver online quizzes and exams and manage student marks.

Available to

U of S faculty, staff and students may use U of S Course Tools (Blackboard). Creation of courses, identification of instructors, and placing students into courses is handled automatically based on current information in the student registration system. Persons & groups outside of the University of Saskatchewan may also be given access.

• Internet connection
• Moderately up-to-date browser/computer (for system requirements see Behind the Blackboard)
• Recent version of Java installed
