Am I required to use this Post Marks interface?
While instructors and teaching assistants are not required to post coursework marks electronically, many will find that it takes little effort and that students appreciate accessing the information online. If you use one of these tools, please inform your students so they know that they can review their coursework marks online.
Where can students view the grades I post using Post Marks?
Currently the students can view grades posted through Post Marks in PAWS through the My Grades & Transcripts channel. Students with an iPhone or iPod Touch can also view their grades through the My Grades button in iUsask
What if I am using Blackboard to deliver my course?
Any grades posted and released in the Blackboard Gradebook will be automatically sent to the myMarks system making them viewable to students in all the same locations as the Post Marks application.
Does this replace the current way Instructors submit Final and Midterm Grades?
No, Post Marks does not replace the formal process currently in place for submitting final grades or midterm grades for 100-level, six-credit unit classes (that run from September to April).
Can I use the Post Marks application to replace my current way of storing coursework grades?
This is not recommended. This system was designed to provide a method for Instructors to distribute marks to students online. We recommend that continue to use your current methods of storing and calculating your coursework grades and simply use the Post Marks application as a way to deliver additional feedback to your students.

My Instructor said they have posted coursework grades online, where can I view these grades?
You can view these marks and grades through the My Grades & Transcripts channel on the Academics channel in PAWS. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch you can also view your marks and grades through iUsask.
Why don't all of my classes show up in the My Grades and Transcripts channel or iUsask?
Only the courses that have grades will show up in the list of classes in the My Grades & Transcripts channel or iUsask. Instructors are only required to post final grades and midterm grades for 100-level, six-credit unit classes. They are not required to post any other marks online.
I just had holds removed on my account but I still cannot see my grades?
Final and Midterm grades may be withheld for a variety of reasons (e.g. Outstanding tuition and fees). If you have taken the necessary steps to remove the holds on your account it may take 48 hours for the Current Grades in the My Grades & Transcripts or iUsask channel to reflect changes.
