The myMarks Service enables to instructors to distribute marks online to students. Students have two options to view course marks, midterm grades and final grades posted to the myMarks system. They can use the PAWS My Grades & Transcripts channel as well as the iPhone/iPod Touch iUsask application.
Instructors and teaching assistants have two tools for securely and electronically posting students' coursework marks (i.e., exams, essays, quizzes and lab work). Both tools allow marks to be reposted or changed by the instructor. Final and mid term grades are automatically posted from SiRIUS to myMarks.
If you are using Blackboard to deliver your course to students any coursework grades released in the Gradebook will automatically be sent to the myMarks system.
Students can verify that the grades you have stored for coursework match what they have in their records.
Post Marks does not replace the formal process currently in place for submitting midterm grades for 100-level, six-credit unit classes (that run from September to April) or for submitting final grades. Such marks must still be submitted using Grade Entry in the Instructor & Advisor Services channel under the Academics tab in PAWS.
