There are network connections in the majority of classrooms. Wired connections are positioned for use by the instructor at the front of the room or on a media console; exact placement varies with the layout of the room. If there is no network connection in a classroom where you need one, report the location to the ITS Help Desk. Additional network connections are installed as resources permit.
Some classrooms have wireless network service. Current wireless coverage is shown on the wireless access points map. Wireless coverage at the University is exanding significantly due in part to the Government of Saskatchewan's Wi-Fi initiative. If you need wireless network coverage in an area that does not currently have any, you can request additional wireless coverage. Colleges and departments can purchase wireless coverage for their areas.
