Overview
Confluence is a wiki package for collaborative document creation and information sharing. As defined by Wikipedia, “A wiki is a collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone with access to contribute or modify content [directly from within a web browser], using a simplified markup language.”

University of Saskatchewan students, faculty and staff.
Features
- Collaborative: To work with others for a specific purpose in a shared work area
- A wiki provides capability far beyond blog capabilities, such as collaborative documentation with versioning (easily roll-back to previous versions, see who changed what, etc.), collaborative knowledgebase building, etc...
Requirements
- To create and contribute to wiki spaces requires a NSID login
- guests with the GUEST logins can also participate in a wiki if the space administrator adds their guest login to the space permissions.

Getting started
- To begin using the wiki and create a space, visit the main wiki page.
- To create a wiki for a class in Blackboard and have it automatically add your class permissions, add the wiki in the tools section in your Blackboard course.
