The University provides a U of S E-mail Service to all students, instructors, and employees as well as other members of the community such as professor emeriti, alumni and retirees. This e-mail service is provided on the mail.usask.ca server. As the University uses this e-mail service for official communications with students and employees, it is the recommended e-mail service for members of the University community.
Some members of the University community may also have access to other e-mail services on different servers that are provided by ITS or colleges.
ITS also offers a Microsoft Exchange collaboration service which includes e-mail. This service provides integrated calendar and e-mail functionality. It is available for a fee to employees with local IT support or desktop support agreements with ITS.
PAWS is the recommended way for students and others to access their e-mail. It is easy to use and as it is web based it is very accessible. It also allows you to access e-mail from up to five IMAP services within the portal.
Webmail provides a secure way for the U of S community to read and send e-mail using a web browser. It can be used to access e-mail services on a number of different servers.
Using MITS you can personalize your e-mail addresses.
The Campus E-mail Directory is a searchable database of employee e-mail addresses. Inclusion in the e-mail directory is voluntary. Employees must personalize their e-mail address in order to be included in the directory.
