Access to an email service is required to send and read email. All students, instructors, researchers and employees of the U of S are automatically provided with space on the Exchange email servers. Your email username for the U of S Email and Calendar service is your Network Services ID (NSID). The NSID is a unique six character sequence containing three alphabetic characters followed by three numeric characters, for example, abc123.
To access your email and calendar service, you need to log in using your NSID username and password. This can be done using PAWS, Outlook Web App or email clients for Windows, Macintosh, and mobile devices.
Your email address will be your NSID@mail.usask.ca (for example, abc123@mail.usask.ca). People can send email to you by sending it to this address. You are encouraged to create a name-based alias for your email address that is easier to remember.
