By default Hotmail is set to auto-report email placed in the Junk folder as spam to Microsoft.
To change the auto-reporting setting do the following:
Step 1:
Log into your Hotmail.com account.
Step 2:
Click the gear icon in top right and select More mail settings:
Step 3:
Under Preventing junk email, select Filters and reporting :
Step 4:
Under Report junk messages, select Don't report - The Junk button will act just like the Delete button. Nothing will be reported to Microsoft or anyone else:
Step 5:
Click Save:
