This is the setup guide for mail.usask.ca/campus.usask.ca email on Android 2.2
The following instructions are based on Android OS 2.2. To find out about your device’s OS version: From the home screen, tap the “Menu” button at the bottom-left corner of your device -> choose Settings -> About Phone -> Firmware Version . Firmware Version should read “2.2.”
1. Navigate to the home screen by pressing the Home button at the bottom of your device.
2. Tap on the Email icon.
3. Tap the Menu button at the bottom-left corner of your device, then tap Accounts.
4. Tap the Menu button to display the menu below, then tap Add account.
5. Enter the following information:
Password: Your NSID password
6. Tap Manual setup to go to the screen below, then tap Exchange account.
7. Enter the following information:
User name: usask\NSID
Password: Your NSID password
Exchange server: campus.usask.ca
Use secure connection (SSL): Checked
Accept all SSL certificates: Unchecked
Tap Next to proceed.
8. A warning will be displayed regarding security settings that will be automatically configured for use with your email account.
9. Choose the following recommended settings:
Email check frequency: Automatic (Push)
Amount to synchronise: 1 month
Send email from this account by default: Unchecked
Notify me when email arrives: Checked
Sync contacts: Checked
Sync calendar: Checked
Tap Next to proceed.
10. Enter the following information:
Give this account a name: campus.usask.ca
Tap Done.
