1. What web browsers are supported by OWA?
Users can use Outlook Web App and the
Exchange Control Panel with almost any Web browser.
To use the full feature set in Outlook Web
App and Exchange Control Panel, you can use the following browsers on a computer
running Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, or Windows7:
- Internet Explorer 7 and later
versions.
- Firefox 3.0.1 and later
versions.
- Chrome 3.0.195.27 and alter
versions.
On a computer running Mac OSX 10.5 and later version, you can use:
- Safari 2.1 and later versions.
- Firefox 3.0.1and later
versions.
On a computer running Linux, you can use:
- Firefox 3.0.1 and later
versions.
If you use a web browser that doesn’t support the full feature set,
Outlook Web App will open in the light version.

1. How do I grant permission to
the others to manage a calendar on the OWA?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Calendar icon.
- Click the Share, select Share This

- Enter person’s email address in
the To… field.
- Select permission in the Share: section and Send.
2. How do I change calendar permission?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Calendar icon.
- Click the Share, select Change Sharing

1. How do I forward/remove
the forward for my OWA?
There are two
different ways to set up forward/remove the forward.
- Go to the MITS website and log
in.
- Click the Forwarding in the Exchange
mail section.
- Enter the email address in the Forward To field and click the Set Forwarding button to set up
forward. (Check the box for Deliver and
Redirect to keep a copy in the Exchange email account.)
- Click the Cancel Forwarding button to remove the forward.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select Create an
Inbox Rule.
- Click the New…, select It was sent to
… in the When the message arrives,
and: field and enter your email address in the To field.
- Select Redirect the message to … in the Do the following: field and enter your email address.
- Click the Save.
2. How do I set an
Out-of-Office message?
There are two different
ways to set an Out-of-Office message.
- Go to the MTS website and log
in.
- Click the Auto Reply in the Exchange
mail section.
- Select Send automatic replies.
- Check the box for Send reply only during this time period,
set Start time: and End time:.
- Enter Out-of-Office message in
the message field.
- Click the Save changes button.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select Set

- Select Send automatic replies.
- Check the box for Send replies only during this time period:,
set Start time: and End time:.
- Enter Out-of-Office message in
the message field.
- Click the Save button.
3. How can I add an
attachment to an email I am sending?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the New.
- Click the Attach File icon and
browse the file you want to attach.
4. What is the maximum
attachment size for the OWA?
- Each attachment cannot exceed 50MB and total size of message and all
attachments cannot exceed 50MB.
5. How do I set up a spam
filter?
There are two different
ways to set up a spam filter.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select See All
Options… .
- Click the Block or Allow.
- Enter senders’ e-mail addresses
or domains in the Junk E-mail Settings section.
- Click the plus sign.
- Click the Save.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select Create an
Inbox Rule.
- Click the New…. Select one of the options in the When the message arrives field, and: and select one of the options
in the Do the following: field.
- Click the Save.
6. How do I block email?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select See All
Options… .
- Click the Block or Allow.
- Enter senders’ e-mail addresses
or domains in the Blocked Senders
section.
- Click the plus sign.
- Click the Save.
7. How do I search email
within OWA?
There are two different
ways to search e-mail within OWA.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Enter e-mail address in the Search Entire Mailbox and search for
it.
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Filter and select the From:.
- Enter e-mail address in the
field and press ENTER.
8. How do I create a
signature file?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select See All
Options… .
- Click the Settings.
- Enter your e-mail signature.
- Check the box for Automatically include my signature on
message I send.
9. How do I create a new
folder?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Right-click on your name that
shows on the left side and select Create
New Folder… .
- Enter the new folder’s name.
10. How do I retrieve deleted emails?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Right-click the Deleted Items folder and select Recover Deleted Items.
- Select the messages and Recover Selected Items.
11. How do I search for
delivery information about messages that I’ve sent or received?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Options and select See All

- Click the Organize EMail.
- Click the Delivery Reports.
- Search for delivery information
about messages that you’ve sent or received.

1. How do I create a new
contact list?
- Go to the OWA website and log
in.
- Click the Contacts icon.
- Click New and enter new contact’s information.
- Click Save and Close.
2. How do I import my
personal address book?
Unfortunately, you are not
able to import your personal address book to the OWA directly. You can configure your exchange account through
Outlook and then import your personal address book to Outlook. It will
automatically sync your address book on OWA.
