Cabinet - Macintosh: Connect to Server
NOTE:
If you are accessing your Cabinet share from off campus, you will need to use the
Off-Campus File Service Gateway
method, or first establish a
Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to campus
before mounting the share.
In Finder select Go and Connect to Server.
In the Server Address text box type cifs://cabinet.usask.ca/work$/abc123 (where abc123 is your NSID)*
*NOTE for Mac OS
10.5.x:
you need to type cifs://cabinet.usask.ca:139/work$/abc123 (where abc123 is your NSID)
Click Connect.
Make sure Connect as Registered User is selected.
Enter your NSID and password.
Press Connect.
A new Network Drive for Cabinet will appear on your desktop.
