File storage services at the U of S provide a secure and convenient way for students, instructors, researchers and employees to store and share academic, research and business information.
Services
There are two types of file storage services:
- Individual - Each student, instructor, researcher and employee at the U of S is provided individual file storage space on a service called Cabinet.
- Departmental - Departmental file storage, called Jade, allows members of a department to share access to files on a communal storage space.
There is also an Off-Campus File Service Gateway that enables access from the Internet to files stored on these services.
