Step 1:
Press Start button then select Control Panel.
Step 2:
Double click Network and Sharing Center.
Step 3:
Click the Task called Manage wireless networks.
Step 4:
Press the Add button.
Step 5:
Press Manually create a network profile.
Step 6:
a. For Network Name type in: eduroam
b. For Security type select: WPA2-Enterprise
c. Check Connect even if the network is not broadcasting
d. Press Next
Step 7:
Press Close.
Step 8:
- Open the Security tab.
- Make sure Choose a network authentication method is set to: Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP), then press the Settings button.
Step 9:
Uncheck Validate server certificate, then press the Configure button.
Step 10:
Uncheck Automatically use my Windows login name and password then press OK.
Step 11:
Press the Network and Sharing Center button.
Step 12:
Press the Connect to a network link in Tasks.
Step 13:
Select eduroam and press Connect.
Step 14:
Click the balloon in your task tray that is asking for additional information.

Step 15:
- For User name type in your NSID username in the format of:
NSID@usask.ca (i.e. abc123@usask.ca)
- For Password type enter your NSID password.
- Press OK.

Step 16
