The UofS WiFi Service uses Security Certificates to ensure security and authenticity.
Many devices will give you the opportunity to ignore certificate checking when configuring certain services on a mobile device. While it is possible to ignore certificate checking for a service, instead of installing and/or using a certificate on your mobile device, you run the risk of using a service that is not genuine or secure.
We recommend you setup your device to use the certificate for UOFS-SECURE.
Cellular carriers such as Rogers or Sasktel often provide
pre-installed security certificates on client devices, including
Smartphones.
