This is the Wi-Fi setup guide for the iOS 4.2 for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Prerequisites:
Tap the Settings icon.
Tap on Wi-Fi.
If Wi-Fi is not already switched on, switch it on. Then tap the uofs-secure network.
Enter your NSID username and password in the appropriate fields and tap Join.
You will be presented with one of two certificates, depending on your version of iOS. Press Accept to join the network.
OR 
You are now connected to the U of S Secure Wireless Network.
