NOTE: Please make sure your Windows Operating System has all the "important" updates installed and that your wireless adaptor driver is up-to-date. For assistance updating your wireless adaptor driver, please contact your laptop's vendor or the ICT Help Desk.
Step 1:
Press Start button then select Run.

Step 2:
Type services.msc and click OK.

Step 3:
Scroll to the bottom of the list. Double click on the Wireless Zero Configuration service and ensure that it is set to Automatic and Started.
Click OK to continue.

Step 4:
Click the Window's Start button again, then select Control Panel.

Step 5:
Select Network Connections

Step 6:
Right click on your wireless network card and select Properties

Step 7:
Open the Wireless Network Tab and press Add.

Step 8:

Open the Authentication Tab, then for EAP type select Protected EAP (PEAP)

Step 10:
Press the Properties button

Step 12:
Make sure Select Authentication Method is set to Secure password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) then press the Configure button

Step 13:
Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password.

Step 14:
Click OK buttons and close any Windows to exit the configuration.
In a few seconds, the network card will contact the uofs-secure network. Click the bubble at the bottom right hand corner to login.

In a few moment you should connect to uofs-secure network as seen the balloon below:
