This Anyconnect VPN software is for Apple OS 10.2.x to 10.5.x for PowerPC computers only.
This software is controlled by license and is to be used for connecting to the University of Saskatchewan only. Use of this software for any other purpose or providing it to a third party under any conditions is prohibited.
To use the U of S VPN service your Network Services ID (NSID) must be added to the VPN user list. Please contact your local IT support staff or the ICT Help Desk.

This VPN software is Apple OS 10.2.x to 10.5.x for PowerPC computers only.
It requires 30 MB of free hard disk space.
You must have administrator privileges on your computer.
Anyconnect 2.5 for Apple OS 10.2-10.5 (PowerPC only)

You will be asked for your NSID to login to the download area for this software.
Double click the anyconnect-macosx-powerpc-2.5.6005.dmg file that you downloaded above.

Double click the vpn-2.5.6005 mounted image as below:

Double click the vpn.pkg installer:

Press Continue:

Press Continue:

Press Continue:

Press Agree:


Type in your computer's admin account name and password:

When the installer is done, press Close:

Open the Anyconnect software in your Applications folder:

For Connect to:, type in tunnel.usask.ca:

for Group, select 1-UofS
for Username, type in your NSID
for password, type in your NSID password
Press Connect

when connected you will see a connection bubble as below for a couple seconds:

To Disconnect, click the Anyconnect icon in top menu and select Disconnect:

When disconnected, you will see a disconnected bubble for a few seconds as below:
