1. Connect your computer to a network port using an Ethernet cable.
2. Open System Preferences, either from the Dock or the Apple Menu.
3. When the System Preferences window appears, click on the Network icon.
4. In the left-hand pane, choose Ethernet
5. Set the Location to Automatic
6. For Configure IPv4 select Using DHCP
7. Press Apply
