You can print to any CPAS printer from your personal laptop via the wireless network or a wired port if you know the name of the printer. Locate the printer nearest you using the printer locations map.
1. Go to Apple
2. Select System Preferences

3. Double click Print & Fax

4. Add a new printer by pressing the + button and the click on "Add Other Printer or Scanner"

5. Move cursor to an open spot on the Print & Fax Window and right click (or Control - Click) and select Customize Toolbar

6. Select the Advanced button and drag it to the Add Printer window menu

7. Press Done

8. Select Advanced
9 For Type select "Windows printer via spoolss"

a) for URL type in: smb://printspool.usask.ca/name_of_printer
(i.e: smb://printspool.usask.ca/MurrayLCBW1)

b) For Name, enter the printer's name so you know which one it is.
c) For Print Using, select Generic PostScript Printer
d) Then press Add
11. Depending on the printer you are adding, you may be prompted about the printer's option. Enable Duplex Printing Unit if prompted.

12. Send a print job to the printer. You should see a password box asking for Name and password.
a) Change the Name to: your_NSID
b) and the password to: your_NSID_password
as in the example below:

c )Then click OK
