While there are many printers and multifunction devices that are designed to work with desktop computers, you need to purchase a network capable printer in order to take advantage of Network Printing services. The Campus Computer Store sells network capable printers as well as a variety of printers just for use with a desktop.
In order to support Network Printing services, ICT requires network printers that support either PS (Postscript) or PCL (Printer Control Language) print languages. ICT recommends HP and Lexmark network printers and Xerox multifunction devices. (Please check the printer specifications carefully before purchase as some models may not support PS or PCL print languages.)
People interested in getting a Xerox multifunction device should contact Consumer Services for information on models that are currently supported.
