If you are completing a grant application for research funding, ICT can provide assistance in a number of fields:
- Cost estimates/quotes for hardware and software can be provided by the Campus Computer Store.
- Identification of hardware needs and recommendations can be provided by Server and Database Services.
- Networking costs can be provided by Communications and Network Services.
- Estimates for computer installation and management can be provided by Desktop Services.
- Estimates for special network security can be provided by Communications and Network Services.
- Sessions to help with the online processes for SSHRC, NSERC and CIHR applications have been provided by ICT Training in conjunction with the Office of Research Services.
Other services for researcher-owned computers are also available from ICT including backups, data archiving, hosting, and management.
