Maple is a symbolic mathematics package. This provides the ability to manipulate mathematical expressions on the basis of the symbols and relationships expressed. As an example, x2 could be integrated to x3 / 3 or differentiated to 2 x.
The University has a license for Maple, but with a limited number of simultaneous users. It is available on Moneta, of the HPC training facility.
