Licensing
The main commercial statistics applications in use on campus are Stata, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and SAS (Statistical Analysis System). The freely available R Project for Statistical Computing is also being used on campus.
Favourable licensing has been arranged and members of the University community can acquire this software through the Campus Computer Store. There are a number of Stata licenses available for research use.
