Cisco IP phones require Power over Ethernet (PoE) network ports to work. When moving your office or if you need a phone in a temporary location, such as a meeting room, you can move your phone yourself between PoE network ports on the University network.
These network ports are readily available in some buildings such as the PAC, Administration and College buildings. Cisco IP phones can be moved freely in these buildings.
