You may check your voicemail using your phone or using your e-mail client.
Once you have accessed the voicemail system, you can check your messages. Use the * key to cancel or back up and "0" for help at anytime.
Dial 11 to listen to new messages
Dial 31 to listen to saved messages
To select voicemail messages, press 1.
To select e-mail messages, press 2.
To select message receipts, press 4.
Note: If you have the "Before Playing Messages, Play Message Type menu" turned off, omit the above step. This setting can be turned off in the Cisco Unity Assistant.
While listening to a message, the following actions can be taken:
After playing the message, you can reply to or forward the message. You can also save the message as new by pressing 6.
If your e-mail client has been configured to access your voicemail, you can listen to voicemail messages on your computer.
Voicemail messages will appear in your voicemail inbox as a message with a WAV sound file attachment. To listen to the voicemail, you will need to use the software your computer uses to play WAV sound files. For most software, double clicking on the WAV file will play the message.
Note: There is only one copy of your voicemail. Deleting it from your e-mail client will delete it from the voicemail system and you will not be able to retrieve it from your phone.

If you are off campus, be sure to select your computer as the play back device and not your phone. Otherwise your e-mail client may pause while attempting to connect to your phone.
