The campus voicemail system was recently updated; all ViewMail users must upgrade their Viewmail software to the current version in order to continue using it.  You can download the software here.

Installing ViewMail for Outlook for First Time

Step 1. Download the installer:

Step 2. Unzip and run the setup.exe file as explained below:

a. Unzip the installer then open the folder called "VMO_8":

b. You will need to know if you have a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows.  You can tell this by Pressing the Start Button, then right clicking on Computer (or My Computer if Windows XP), then selecting Properties.  

Under System, the System type will either say 32-bit or 64-bit Operating System such as:

• If you have a Windows 32bit OS go into the Win32 folder

• or if you have a Windows 64bit OS go into the x64 folder

c. then go into the ENU folder:

d. Then double click the "setup.exe" file

Step 3. Press Install

Step 4. Will begin installing and you will see:

Step 5. Agree to the license agreement and press next:

Step 6. Press next:

Step 7. Press Install:

Step 8. Press finish:

Step 9. Press OK:

Step 10. Open outlook and the below wizard will start:

press Next as above

Step 11. Press Next as below:

Step 12: For Voicemail Server Name enter marathon.usask.ca as below:

Press Next as above

Step 13. Enter the follow as below:

user name: Your NSID

password: Your NSID Password

phone number: Your 4 digit UOFS phone number

Press Next as above

Step 14. Press Finish as below:

Upgrading Software from another Version

Step 1. Follow Steps 1-9 Above

Step 2. Open Outlook

Step 3. From Outlook Menu, select Tools and Options:

Step 4. Open the ViewMail Tab:

Step 5. Select your Email Account and press Edit button:

Step 6. Enter the information as below:

Voicemail Server Name: marathon.usask.ca

Username: Your NSID

Password: Your NSID Password

Phone Number: Your 4 digit UOFS phone number

Step 7. Press OK
