Use a blog whenever you want to post articles on a regular basis for the world to see. The blog allows you to easily create these articles‚ and automatically indexes these articles by date and categories. Some example uses include:
You can use blogs in the U of S Course Tools/Blackboard. The easiest way to use blogs from these tools is to use the External (URL) Link tool (available from the Build Content button within your course) to add a link to the blog.
Another alternative is to use RSS files generated by your blog or others to add the blog headlines to the course. You can do this within BBLearn using the RSS Feed tool, available from the Add Interactive Tool button within your Content Area
The RSS and Blog Viewer channel withi PAWS enables RSS feeds from blogs to be displayed as a channel within PAWS.
