Many departments use the Web Content Management Service to access and maintain their websites. For those who don't, it is possible to access webpage files stored on www by mapping/mounting a drive or by using Secure FTP.
Map a Drive – Windows File Sharing
You can map a drive to the www server.
Mount a Drive – Macintosh OS X
You can mount a drive to the www server.
Secure FTP (SFTP)
Use a Secure FTP (SFTP) client to upload the webpage files from your computer to your web space on www.usask.ca.
If you use Dreamweaver, make sure the Secure FTP box is checked in the Site Definition.
If you use FileZilla, go into the Site Manager and set the server type to SFTP or use Quickconnect and set the Port number to 22.
