While on campus, you can access Homepage from your Windows desktop or laptop computer. You will need to "Map a drive" to access file service shares.

1. Click Start in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.


2. Choose My Computer.



 

3. Click Tools > Map Network Drive



 

4. Select a letter to be designated as the drive (do not use the same letter that appears when connecting a USB device such as a memory stick).
5. In the Folder box insert \\homepage.usask.ca\abc123 (where abc123 is your NSID).



 

6. Ensure that the Reconnect at Logon option is checked (if left unchecked the process of mapping will need to be done each time you disconnect from Cabinet/Folder).
7. Click Finish.
8. Your computer will now attempt to "Map" to your Homepage directory:



 

You may be asked for a username and password if you are not yet authenticated to the usask domain. If you see the below password dialogue box:

1. For your User name, enter: USASK\abc123 (where abc123 is your NSID).
2. For your password, enter your NSID password. If you do not know your NSID and password, please contact the ICT Help Desk.
3. Check off the Remember my password check box.
4. Then press OK.

If you are already authenticated to the usask domain, you will see the window for Homepage:

Your Homepage drive will now be accessible by opening your "My Computer" icon. Under My Computer you will now have a Network Drive for homepage.usask.ca that you can use to store your files:
